Jurnal Geosains dan Remote Sensing (JGRS) published six articles in the field of geoscience in this edition, including three articles related to disaster mitigation by utilizing Landsat 8 imagery for mapping land drought and forest fires as well as the use of SAR imagery to analyze land subsidence using the InSAR method, one article related to the use of satellite imagery for mangroves and two articles on the use of Landsat 8 imagery for identify heat flow and surface temperature change patterns in geothermal areas. All of the articles we publish are available to all users worldwide (Open Access). Thank you to the entire team of authors who entrusted their scientific articles to JGRS for publication.
