Every article sent to the Jurnal Geosains dan Remote Sensing (JGRS) editorial is free of charge (no charge), including free article processing fees (IDR 0). Publication costs for articles that pass the review stage and are declared acceptable for publication are borne by the publishers of this journal. This policy may change and will be communicated through this page. Every policy change will be implemented in the future, not vice versa.

Fee waiver

Until now, JGRS still applies a fee waiver for all authors who submit manuscripts and publish their articles on JGRS. The author need not state that he requested a waiver during their submission. The publisher bears the entire process of submission, reviewing to publishing.

Fast Track Review

JGRS allows authors to submit a fast-track review process by writing in the "Comments to editors" column. The author is obliged to explain the exact reason why this fast-track process is needed. The editorial team determines the decision regarding the fast track review process according to the publication's needs, and this decision cannot be contested. The editor is also not obliged to notify the authors of the results of this decision.
